About Us
Korean Central Presbyterian Church (KCPC) English Ministry was conceived October 4, 1992. What originally began as a small college group at Berkeley, God has matured into a church composed of youth just leaving high school to working adults who have children on their way into high school.
Since 1993, KCPC has ministered to many hundreds of people who have been a part of our church community at one point or another. The Bay Area is commonly a temporary residence for many, yet our hope is that during your time with us, long or short, you may experience a Christian community that will help you in your maturing process as a believer.
We understand we are a church full of imperfect people. We believe that all people have sinned and have fallen short of the perfection required by God. We also recognize the complete work of salvation and forgiveness resulting from the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and this work of salvation is "available to all who call upon the name of the Lord" (Joel 2:32).
Our beliefs are defined in our Statement of Faith and reflects the Reformed theology that govern our understanding of the Bible.
